$25,000 Grant for Solar Installation
The City of Bloomington announced that the they will provide technical support and grant funding of up to $25,000 to install solar energy and improve building efficiency. The City has chosen to partner with MPI Solar for the solar energy installations.
Who qualifies?
- Non-profits, schools, and small businesses under 500 employees
- Own a facility of at least 3000 square within the city limits
- Organizations that rent can participate with the permission of the owner

SEEL will be taking applications starting January 18th. The fund has a limit and we expect the program to go quickly. Prospective funding applicants to the SEEL program are invited to learn more by attending a hybrid information session on January 18 at 12 pm via Zoom or at City Hall in the McCloskey Conference Room.
